How we hate our enemies is how we hate god.

I&#039;ve found this to be one of the hardest ideas to convey &lt;i&gt;to other christians&lt;/i&gt;.  I think &#039;love your enemies&#039; is the most omitted/neglected teaching/example we&#039;ve been given.  In fact, I hear an alarming amount of the hating of said &#039;enemies&#039; going on within the church - like its ok.  For some reason, the majority of &#039;christians&#039; get up in arms when you question or take issue with (or even just reinterpret) overly contextual or obviously opinionated statements made by biblical authors speaking for themselves, but this teaching &lt;i&gt;of christ&lt;/i&gt; is somehow ok to controvert.</description>
