I found this photo via dig, and I’m sure it was taken and posted by someone who finds religious zealots to be total nutters. But I can not help but be amused by the shear audacity of this fellow. A quick look at his shirt demonstrates he’s not part of the religious community. I mean really, when was the last time you met a christian protester who listened to the Ramones? (other than me?) This is the type of community-social-engineering hack that rings with elegance and makes my heart glow.

I wanted to know what they were protesting – I couldn’t find the article you mention, however.
Oh, and I think i would have used bright red letters on the sign.
