So I have a few friends who are playing the biggest looser. It’s a interesting idea and one I recently decided to play along with. However, I’m not a big fan of counting calories, and pounds always seems like an arcane reference to the british monetary system. So I’ve decided to adjust the rules just a bit. Instead of playing the biggest looser with a partner/friend/girlfriend/celbrity crush/robot I’ve decided to play with my Cat Dharma. She’s abundant.

And I’ve decided that instead of trying to loose X pounds, I’m going to try and loose a Dharma. (In weight, not cats) I’m going to accomplish this goal by setting another goal, chasing dharma around the apartment for 30 minutes a day. After all, she’s my partner in this endeavor, and if I did my math right, she’s proportionally more overweight than I am.
So this morning, I got up, much to the chagrin of Dharma, who was quite peacefully asleep on my foot. After a mutual period of yawning and stretching, I poked dharma until she ran out of the room. Then I set my timer for 30 minutes and set about chasing her around the apartment. She’s not really a fan of our new exercise regime. There was meowing and much hiding under futons, behind toilets and in the litter box. 18 minutes in she stopped running. No prodding, or coaxing –even squirting with the water-bottle-motivator– could make her move. she just meowed. So we took a breather. She doesn’t know she’s got more 15 more minutes of exercise coming later tonight.
I’m off to loose a Dharma!

Using the Ultimate Cat Litter box, cat owners will get the advantage of it being able to absorb liquids and odors instantly due to the fact that the liquid evaporates to leave odor trapped within. In the case of solids, they are rapidly dehydrated; thereby depriving them of their smell and the litter will stay dry and thus inhibits bacteria. Since there is no clumping, the need to throw away does not arise and one bag may last an average cat approximately one month.
