Mail.app v. Thunderbird.

Ok, I switched to thunderbird for a grand total of 3 hours.

Thunderbird is nice, but it’s just not there yet. The simple fact that there’s not a plugin for Apple’s Address Book makes it mostly useless.

That said, it does have one nice feature: “Trust Spam Assassin.” I may be attempting to write a mail.app plugin to do just that. While rules can be written to trust the verdict of spam assassin, it still triggers the new mail sound and the growl notification which is mighty annoying.
