Web 2.0, Digital Ethnography and the mashup I want to do.

Here is a video made by a professor of Digital Ethnography at Kansas State University. (Go Manhattan!)

As Professor Wesch points out we’ll need to rethink Ethics and Identity. While the video has prophetic aires, the timeline for this rethinking needs to start immediately. Wesch also identifies the concept of “mashup” whereby sites / applications share data sets to bring, for instance flickr photo’s together with google maps so that photo’s have locations. The ethics of web, “mashed-up” to Christian community is one I’d very much like to work on.
